It all depends on the size of your home, but generally, from the time we are adults, we do not spend much time awake in our bedroom. Therefore, it is generally seen as the room in the home where we spend the least time. However, our bedroom is also a sanctuary to where we retreat to find the strength to face another day, where we get ready to go out not just for a special occasion, but every day. Furthermore, we keep our jewellery and personal items in our bedroom and it is often where many of us exercise. By the end of the day our bedroom becomes a very special and longed-for place to be!  It is not surprising then, that we enjoy dedicating ourselves to organising and decorating it, selecting the bed(s), chest of drawers, wardrobe, lighting, curtains, essentially everything that belongs there.
